26 The stars at night are big and bright... πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½ DEEP IN THE HEART OF Ontario.

I won the spelling bee in 4th grade but lost the school spelling bee to a 3rd grader who remembered to add the β€œw” in β€œknowledge.” Disappointing, I know. To this day my fondest memory of childhood was winning first place with the 4th graders and my entire class jumping up and giving me a huge hug for winning. That’s the feeling of community I miss as an adult. Why don’t your peers do that when you get a promotion? Or find out exciting news? Why are children so quick to be supportive of their acquaintances doing amazing things yet so many people in adulthood boast with feelings of envy. Can I please just be 9 again? This whole 26 thing is getting old.

Does anyone wanna be 4th grade friends? No negative Nancys or envious Ethans allowed.
