30 Tall and adventurous Scot looking for a real connection

Hey there! I'm Lewis, I'm 30 and Scottish.

I'm a keen traveller and I've made it to pretty much every continent, except AntarctiOntario, at least once, though it's a dream of mine to go there some day too. I just love to explore new landscapes and cultures and meet interesting new people. If you've travelled a lot yourself, or would like to, then I'd love to hear all about it!

Physically I'm tall (6'4"), broad, blonde and I have blue eyes. I also have a beard, though I've gone back and forth between clean shaven and bearded. Likewise I've gone through periods of being very fit and lean, to being a lot bigger. Currently I'm working on losing weight and getting back into shape. I'm very much like a bear at the moment.

I work in the Scotch Whisky industry in sales/retail and I have a couple of degrees, my job is well paid and I enjoy it, though the hours are long. I have my own place and live quite comfortably alone.

I'm definitely a deep conversationalist and I like getting past the small talk and into something more meaningful, though some small talk, flirting and banter is fun too. I'm also quite romantic, I pay attention to the details and appreciate a girl who does the same. If you want someone reliable, mature and who knows what they want to how to handle themselves and you, then I'm your man. I'm quite playful and a bit of a compliment machine, so if you need genuine bigging up I've got you covered.

I love the outdoors, nature and whisky. I also really enjoy reading and writing, martial arts, cooking and baking, sports and video games.

I'm really interested in travel, culture, history, space, science, psychology, true crime, unsolved mysteries and all sorts, so feel free to talk about whatever takes your fancy. I enjoy hearing about people's passions and interests.

Physically speaking I don't have a strict type. I tend to like girls with dark hair and brown eyes, but in terms of complexion and background I'm very open. Beauty is more than skin deep.

I'm definitely looking for a serious and commited relationship. I've been in long term relationships for the longest time and while I'm not opposed to something starting out more casual, my priority is a long term commitment. I'm not opposed to long distance with an aim of meeting and eventually closing the distance.

Likewise for my age range, I don't have a strict preference as long as you aren't too young.
