We got married, and we thought that meant a companion for life. We had kids and we thought, this will really seal the deal. Happiness forever. And we love our kids more than life itself. No regrets there.

But that person who helped make the kids, why can we sort of not stand them sometimes? Why don't they get us like they used to? Why did life become so serious?
