34 , Looking for friends for conversation, fun, and more

Hello everyone and I hope you’re having a great weekend!

While I’ve sat typing and retyping this message all I could think of is finding that someone who will fill my time and brighten my day. I am looking for online friends (with benefits? The kinkier the better, but not necessary) to talk to, “hang out,” and generally have a good time with. Not opposed to meeting someday if things get that far, but I’m a ways away from that at this stage. Not really looking for a relationship at this stage, but I’ve been surprised before.

I tend to stay up nights and sleep days, though that does vary some from day to day. Ideally I’d find someone with a similar schedule to maximize chatting and interactions. For reference I’m on EST, but time zones don’t really matter that much if we can make things work.

About me: I am 34, 6’1”, reddish hair (what’s left of it), brown eyes, a few extra pounds, but actively trying to lose it. I think I am a good listener, can be a bit awkward and self conscious in conversations at times, but can usually hold a conversation with anyone interested in having one.

I enjoy reading (lots of fantasy lately, but I’ll never say no to a good recommendation), playing and watching sports (mostly baseball), swimming (I should do it more often), gaming, movies, and doom scrolling on YouTube. These are where I tend to spend most of my time, but I am not opposed to learning new things and talking about anything that might interest you.

Ideally we’d move to something like discord sooner than later. Open to both text and voice calls/voice notes.
