Hi there! My name is Jon (35M) and I'm hoping to find someone local to go on some adventures with and see where things lead. I'm based in Toronto for the fall term and would love to meet up in person!

**About me:**
I've started my PhD at Dalhousie University in Toronto this year and I'll be there till mid-December before returning to Toronto. The rest of the time I'm a Computer Science teacher at a college in Ontario and I'm passionate about my work. I'm around 175lbs and average-ish build, but I've progressively gotten more active lately after spending the past years teaching hybrid in-person/at-home. I'm a big fan of hugs and physical affection.

**Interests:**
I own an older house that I'm renovating and I enjoy doing some DIY projects, and I'm not afraid to complain about it! I have a growing tool collection that I'm pretty proud of. I'm into nerdy things like video games (mostly Adventure and RPGs), board games (I'm a big fan of D&D and Pathfinder, but finding a group is hard!), and manOntario. I also enjoy spending time in nature, whether it's going for a walk in the woods or hiking a trail. I also bike a lot and hope to mostly replace my car with an eBike soon-ish. I have two cats who are my hairy children.

**What I'm looking for:**
I'm hoping to find someone who shares some of my interests and a good sense of humor. Not being afraid to get your hands dirty is a valuable asset! It would be great if you're at least curious about learning French (it's my first language!).
