38 I just wanted to find someone to chat with, but I ended up falling in love with them (what a social accident)

📍 Milton

Here's what happened: I'm 38 years old, married, and just trying to kill time online when I met someone I really connected with.

At first, we just grumbled about our lives and cracked harmless jokes, but then, somehow, we were chatting every day, comforting each other, and sharing little secrets late at night.

I always thought I had it under control.

But one day, he didn't reply to my messages, and I started to feel down and started rereading our chats...

That's when I realized, oh no, I'm in it.

We didn't say anything flirtatious, and we hadn't met in person, but I definitely had that emotional dependency.

I'm even wondering if this counts as emotional infidelity, or if I'm just lacking attention.

Now it's like... It's not that I'm unfaithful, it's just that I'm too good at chatting. 🙃

Has anyone else experienced this kind of subtle online flirtation? How did it end for you?
