Hello, I'm Seth! I'm looking to chat to a few random people and maybe if I'm lucky, make some new friends. I'm not looking for anything sexual, but I've marked it NSFW because we're all adults here and I tend to swear like a sailor 😛

Me: I'm obsessed with books. I've usually got a book I'm chipping away at, and my to-read pile is forever growing: it's at 300+ atm. Eep. I love to program in my spare time (usually for retro systems) so I've been reading a bunch of nerd shit lately (tasm, masm, compiler construction. IYKYK). I'm also about to start some H.P. Lovecraft I've had tucked away for years, waiting for the right moment. I'll read pretty much anything if it speaks to me, so I'm always open to recs. I just finished Jennette McCurdy's latest book too, it was insanely good. Also love to write, anything from technical documentation (I actually really enjoy this, it's a blast) to smut, to bad poetry. Bukowski, anyone?

I love all the other usual things too (music, movies, games, art). H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński are favourites in terms of art. I tend to be attracted to things that have a dark or gothic theme, there's a beauty to them. They're human, in a way. I'm on a "weight loss journey" at the moment, which is really just me constantly battling myself and my urge to over indulge, because hedonist. Bacchus is one of my favourite deities, shock horror. It's working though! I'm slowly transmogrifying into a total sexy bitch \*tosses my hair\*

What else? Oh, I'm a weirdo and a general dork (and self-aware?). It's Reddit, that's to be expected. Neurodivergent, which is new to me because I've always just seen myself as an odd duck, but now there's a term for it. I'm wildly introverted and demi, but also fickle: I get bored really easily, which is probably one of my bigger red flags. Meaningful connection and substance > constant small talk. Why is small talk easier once you've bonded with someone? Weird.
