41 Professional Dad. Seeking the spark, the banter, and the side of you that doesn’t do the school run

I am not entirely sure I should be here, but at some point I looked up from the routine and realised I am missing the feeling of being genuinely excited and properly desired.

On paper, everything is pretty good. I have a family I love and a career that keeps me busy but flexible. I do not want any of that to change, I am not looking to blow up my life or yours. What I am looking for is a quiet escape that makes the day to day feel a little less grey.

I am 41, educated, and successful. I take reasonable care of myself through running and the gym, though I enjoy good food and wine more than I probably should. I am a bit of a nerd at heart, enjoy being outdoors, and can hold a decent conversation about most things.

I am looking for a woman in a similar place. A busy mum who loves her family but feels she has lost a little of herself along the way. Someone who misses the butterflies, the anticipation of a message, and the feeling of being wanted for who she is rather than what she does for everyone else.
