42 looking for something real and longterm and the slow burn.

I am 42 and married and looking for something that is going to last more than one week. I want someone to talk to about everything. I don't want it to be one sided. I would love for us both to be needy together. I am looking for something real and longterm. I am told I am to nice to people and have a hard time saying no. I guess that's just my personality. I love to help others. My job is very hands one and takes a lot of compassion. So I try to show that to everyone. I am looking for someone who is honest and open and not afraid to catch feelings if that happens. I don't want to change your situation or mine. But I like the idea of a relationship with someone else. I want the excitement and emotional connection that I am missing.

A little bit about me. I am 42, married with 2 kids. I am 6'5 with brown hair and eyes and a beard. I have a dad bod but do a lot of heavy lifting at work so I am not out of shape. I love the outdoors. I enjoy going camping and kayaking. I love to read. I read 75 books last year and hoping to meet that same goal this year. I am very laid back and kind of an introvert.
