7 Billion People, Just Want 1

The comments section has turned into something of an*1this site *post and it has me feeling some type of way. The kindness, thoughtfulness, and effort everyone has been putting forth for me is so unexpected and so moving. There are over seven billion people on the planet now and I just can't shake the feeling that there's someone out there looking for me too... I have been online dating for a while but what are the odds this other person lives within 100 miles of me? (Looking at you,1this site).

(Edit for clarification: You don't need to be within 100 miles of me. I simply mean that dating apps usually have a maximum radius of 100 miles. But as1someone pointed out below, the odds of you finding someone you'd even consider dating long term within a hundred miles of you is around 1:50,000. Not great. Hence this appeal to the internet at large.)
