Always searching for connections

I’m back again!

What can I say? I’m a relatively frequent poster and eternal optimist. I’ll be honest that I’m a little less optimistic right now but sometimes those moods and the loneliness can hit you like that. When it feels tough I double down and post again because nothing changes if you do nothing right?

We’re all here to find a connection outside our marriage because we fell like we’re missing something in our day-to-day lives and we’re hoping to find it here and sometimes It may feel like looking for a needle (the ‘one’’) in a really big haystack (weirdos, low effort replies, ghosters, scammers and sellers) but I believe it’s possible and so I keep trying like many of you.

About me: I like to describe myself as a standard, by the book nerd (80s and 90s nostalgia, movies, books, sci fi etc.) but I do have more strings to my bow. I’m into all sorts including politics, fashion, art, culture and sports so hopefully we can find common ground!

I have a busy and fulfilling job which can be stressful but never dull. I’ve been married for 13 years and have 2 kids so it’s a busy life but has space for more 🤞🏽

About you: someone who wants to connect and talk a lot. Someone who wants to feel a connection and be fulfilled. Someone who smiles when my name pops on their phone and wants to send just one more text to me before they sleep. All cliches I know but I’m a sucker for a romantic cliche 😂

Ideally, you’re married, desperate to talk and in a UK friendly timezone (ideally UK or Europe but EST can work depending on schedules). Age is just a number and personality matters more so no preference on that
