Disabled nerd seeking genuine friendship with likeminded folks

Hey all. I'm dealing with serious chronic illness and in a difficult place with it so just want to put my cards on the table.

I'm a complex person going through a lot. I'm queer, disabled, and neurodivergent. I truly appreciate having friends to chat with because I'm bedbound now and things get lonely. I'm looking for strictly platonic and text chat only. I live with a partner and just want friends.

I would prefer to talk to folks who are disabled, neurodivergent, mentally ill, queer, and/or marginalized in some way. Certainly left-leaning as well as LGBTQIA+ and disability friendly. People who are more likely to understand at least some of what I experience and share belief in human rights and care about what's going on in the world.

I'm a nerdy person who enjoys TV, loves music and making playlists, does cozy gaming when possible, knows a lot about film and literature, and I'm a writer. I can be weird and silly and also serious and emotional. I put care and effort into my connections and look for sensitive and empathetic folks who do the same. Not looking for advice or hope or positivity, just mutual support and compaOntario.
