Don’t get thrown off by the username

I made this account way back when I was young and still running into burning buildings, hanging out in ER rooms and believing I was some sort of hot mess. I’m here to make a genuine connection I swear!

Currently, I manage some advanced tech at a medical school, which simply means that instead of putting out fires on people’s properties I’m putting out fires in grad students’ careers. Is anyone else at a weird point professionally where they feel both young and old at the same time?

Depending on how all of that goes on any given day, I may recharge afterwards with kitty snuggles, a bit of therapeutic wrenching, or good old-fashioned internet brainrot of course. I’m well versed in the typical introvert coping skills and use them often.

I’ve been on a bit of a self discovery journey for the past few years and I haven’t dated during that time, but now life is pretty stable and I miss love. I’m looking to find my one person and build something rooted in safety, attunement, and reciprocity. I want to practice love and empathy in a world that seems to be changing rapidly in what appears to be threatening ways.

The type of safe and loving family system, where each person feels wholly seen and accepted for who they are, is one of the few things that I truly care to accomplish in my life because it’s not something that I had growing up. I would love for kids to be part of that picture too someday, but I also consider myself a realist and would need to make sure everything is ready financially, logistically, and in my relationship before pursuing that. 

You’re more likely to be compatible with me if you share similar goals, have done some of the inner work, and have the availability and willingness to explore a deep connection with someone else. Although I don’t have a timeline in mind, the end goal is indeed a committed, monogamous, in person relationship.

This is the part of the commercial they real very fast: I am college educated, non religious, liberal. I don’t enjoy politics but I feel a responsibility to pay attention. 6’0, 180lbs, athletic build. Asian descent. Single, never married, no kids currently. I like cats. Alcohol and drug free, 420 friendly. Pictures sooner rather than later would be appreciated.
