guy looking to make new friends

I'm in a very happy relationship with my GF, and it's not her job to fulfill all my social needs, especially when I want to excitedly talk about things I know she has no interest in haha.

My old friends and I have reached that point of drifting away as our life journeys have pulled us from different directions and or they became stagnant and I've kept moving forward. Id really like to rebuild my LGBTQ+ community with people close to my age.

Grew up in Ontario- GTA. Now I live in Ontario but I'm trying to get out of here to move up North with my Gf

I have a handful of interests but these two are my two main ones if I were to create a list.

I'm into video games, PC and PS5 user and currently dabbling in making my own game for PC -self taught so it's going to be a long journey.

I've got a hobby in painting miniatures, but haven't done anything recently while I get a new workstation set up.

I listen to EDM 90% of the time

I don't always have a full social battery especially if I've had an extremely long day at work so sometimes I'm not as receptive to responding and may not respond for several hours.

I prefer text over VC, but if we have a good vibe going and want to co-op a game I'd likely be down for it.
