What am I looking for? Absolutely nothing specific. I work from home and also travel a lot for work so my in-real-life friendships tend to suffer. I also really enjoy the hit of dopamine that I get when the little orange "1" pops up next to my chats on here. I do prefer longterm chats over little one-day ones. If you're here to "hit it and forget it" in my DMs, it really just seems like a waste of time, no?

I've made some really great this site friends along the way, but life seems to eventually get in the way for one or the other (the way of such things, I suppose). It gets in the way for me sometimes too! So I get it.

About Me:

I'm originally from the Ontario, but now call Ontario home. I know my name is "SportsJunkie" but It's a really old screenname because I've been around this site forever. I can talk about lots else besides sports! That said, it's a big part of my life, so if I'm slow to respond, I'm at the fields coaching. I'm not very outdoorsy, but I love to cook and sing and hang out with a nice glass of whiskey. I'll save more deets for when we talk! I am rarely serious and always full of really lame jokes and lots of sarcastic banter. Just looking for FRIENDS on here.

About You:

Please don't expect me to be around at all hours of the night because my night owl days are (usually) over. Maybe you work from home or are a stay at home mom who needs distraction or maybe work is just slow and you like to procrastinate like me. Please be willing to swap selfies at some point and potentially move to another chat venue because this site chat is notoriously glitchy. Bonus points for being able to dish out the sarcasm as well as you can take it. I love the banter. US Eastern timezone or close by is obviously a bonus, but I can make just about anything work.
