Lurking? Looking? I’m right here!

Relatively new account, but I’m not new. I’ve been looking for a while, so it goes, and wanted a fresh start, so here we go.

I’m looking for someone fairly local, who can meet regularly. I would love to be able to meet for lunch or go on little dates somewhere that’s OPSEC safe, of course, and be able to add in those longer meets where we can really spend time getting to know and explore each other.

As for me, I’m a married suburban dad who is staying to get a little gray, which looks strange to me in the mirror, but it’s not a bad change. I haven’t lived in RVA too terribly long, and I like being a tourist in my own city. There are lots of places I haven’t explored or haven’t fully explored.

I love the Museum of History and Culture and the Museum of Fine Arts, as well as many of the amazing local restaurants the city offers. I’m also looking forward to the weather getting nice and being able to be outside walking, hiking, going to Flying Squirrels games and doing other summer things. (I better be careful or I’ll start to sound like a tourism brochure.)

In addition, maybe we have things in common indoors, too. If you like books, I’ve been reading a lot of different things lately - history, fiction, graphic novels - and I have a pile of half finished books on my nightstand I need to get through. (Don’t all readers have this?) I like lots of kinds of music as well as movies and classic TV.

If any of this clicks with you, maybe we have a chance to have a spring fling that turns into a summer romance and keeps going beyond! I’d love to talk more if you think we’d have anything in common! I’m good with chatting to start, and I love voice notes and audio and video calls when we can sneak them in.
