Hello, my name is Doruk. I’m 17 years old and I live in Toronto. If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m probably a bit pessimistic, and I’m not really someone who can easily do silly things just for fun. I usually don’t think too much before reacting. If something feels funny to me, I just do it. I overthink a lot sometimes, but I also have deep and gloomy thoughts from time to time. It feels like I have very conflicting personalities.

My hobbies are history, philosophy, watching anime, playing mobile games, and also watching football, basketball, and Formula 1. Though honestly, I’m not someone who follows sports very seriously — I mostly just watch them when they appear in front of me, so I probably couldn’t have detailed conversations about them. But I regularly spend time on my other hobbies.

In general, I enjoy talking about history and philosophy. I want to improve myself in these areas. I’m 17 years old, and I want to build an intellectual identity for myself.
