nomadic Brit looking for great conversation and a genuine connection

I’m a British guy in my 30s whose job involves a fair bit of travel. It’s great for seeing new places, but not always ideal for meeting new people so I thought I’d try the internet’s slightly more interesting corner instead.

Quick summary: curious person, frequent traveler for work and someone who enjoys thoughtful conversations, random tangents, and the occasional terrible meme.

• Consultant by day (I promise I have a personality outside PowerPoint)
• Naturally curious I fall down a lot of podcast, book, and history rabbit holes rapidly
• I enjoy wandering bookshops, markets, and new places without much of a plan
• Occasionally attempt to design board games with questionable success
• Big fan of cats and will happily exchange pet photos

I’m fairly easygoing, a little sarcastic, and I enjoy conversations that wander into interesting places, the kind where you start by talking about your day and somehow end up debating strange history facts or ridiculous hypotheticals.

Fair warning: conversations with me tend to drift into curious rabbit holes.

**What I’m hoping to find**

Someone thoughtful, kind, and a little curious about the world. You don’t need to share all the same interests and it’s usually more fun when people bring different ones to the table.

Mostly I just enjoy having someone to talk to: sharing random thoughts or interesting things we’ve come across.

If it turns into one of those rare connections where conversation feels effortless and you genuinely look forward to hearing from each other, that would be pretty great too.

No pressure or expectations here, just hoping to meet someone interesting and see where conversation goes.

**When I’m not working**

You’ll usually find me exploring wherever I happen to be, wandering through bookshops, farmers’ markets, or hiking somewhere with no particular destination. Other days are quieter: cooking, reading, or listening to a podcast while attempting to make something vaguely edible.
