Not Nerdy Enough for the Nerds, Too Nerdy for the Normies

I'm stuck somewhere in between geek and basic and it's making it increasingly difficult to make friends. Halp.

My family are immigrants, also kind of weird, and there's a eff ton of them (one of 7 siblings). I like fancy coffee. I binge Lord of the Rings once a month (extended edition thank you, I'm no pleb) and have read The Silmarillion. I shop at Target...too much. I like leggings. I watch YouTube film critics who are definitely on the autism spectrum. I would rather bring a bottle of wine home and get drunk listening to music rather than hitting the club (and I'm the only one my age that does around here). I go to an art school that my daddy isn't paying for.

The nerds I've met prefer anime and think I'm a posuer. The "normal people" want to party and look at me like I have two heads when I invite them for pizza and B horror movie night. I'm either not hipster enough or not refined enough for the art geeks.

I'm just looking for a friend I can be myself with. Someone who doesn't mind me bitching about my siblings varying levels of crazy. Someone who likes to punish themselves with truly awful movies just for the laughs. Someone who can tolerate my spectrum of annoying girliness to actual freak.
