Toronto - New Years Eve plans?

Hey there,

First thing's first, yes, I have crossposted this in 1this site, but no it doesn't mean that I'm looking specifically to hook up.

Anyway.

I'm back in Ontario visiting family for the holidays and I'll be in K-W over New Years, and I'm looking to chat with and maybe meet up with someone to ring in the New Year. The friends I'll be with are, due to medical stuff, unable to really stay up too late, so I'll be free around 10pm!

About me: 37, beardy, dad-bod, museum worker. Specifically, I focus on education, research, and interpretation - panels and guides and the like. I've done a lot of travelling in my life - lived in Toronto, Iceland, the UK, and the States as well as in Ontario and Ontario - and I love learning about other cultures and places and histories. I'm a giant geek, I won't lie.

I've got Opinions on a lot of things, but generally I like to keep it chill when I first meet people. Don't worry, I'm not likely to go Full Comrade on you until like seven or eight drinks in, and you'll have to mention smashing the state first ;)

About you: 25 or older, looking to hang out and keep things *relatively* low key, ideally - my days of partying until 5am are getting mighty short, but I'm not a quitter - and interested in reminding me what being in a town with more than 9000 people is like!
