Trying to break out of my shell a little

Helloooo! I'm 18 and from near Toronto, I'm currently about to start my second year of A-Levels and pretty excited.

As the title says, I'm trying to break out of my shell a little more, my family is pretty religious which can feel really constricting at times but I'm hoping i can start to explore a little and learn more about myself with someone, both sfw and nsfw. I would like to meet irl at some point when we're both comfortable and our schedules allow, I don't have any ethnic, age or body type preferences it's absolutely about how well we mesh as people.

In my free time I enjoy reading horror and mystery novels, over the break ive also gotten into volunteering at local shelters and learning to cook although that is mostly just helping my mum.
