Wife’s out of town and I’m realizing how quiet my place is

This might be a slightly reckless post, but here we go.

My wife is away for the week and I suddenly have something I almost never get — a completely empty weekend and no plans. After two nights of working late and sitting around my apartment, I figured I’d see who’s out there.

I’m 27, live in Toronto, work a normal professional job, and I’m generally pretty grounded. Good conversation, good food, a couple drinks, exploring somewhere new — that’s usually my speed.

What I keep thinking about though is doing something \*\*a little spontaneous this weekend\*\*.

A drive somewhere outside the city.

A random Airbnb.

Good food, drinks, talking for hours, seeing if the chemistry is actually there in person.
