27 Just a gal looking for a pal! I made a little photo album if you'd like to see what I'm all about :)

Hi there! I'm 27 years old from the Canadian prairies, and I'm looking for someone to chat with, sort of like a modern day penpal. Here is a photo of me and some little snippets of my life. [Edit: I've taken down the photos because of privacy reasons, but am happy to share them in a private chat if you'd still like to see!]

I'm quite introverted and shy; I spend a lot of time in my home and inside my own head, trying to find the courage to put myself out there but never really succeeding at it. I like reading, art, animals, nature, true crime, and baking. I also watch a lot of documentaries and deep dives about random topics I'm interested in, like lions, whales, or extreme weather phenomena. By profession I'm a biologist. 🐟

Overall my life is pretty quiet and routine. One new thing I'm trying to get into this year is running, hence the brand new running shoes among my pics, lol. What's one skill/hobby/interest you want to take on?

I would love to meet someone (ideally 25+) I can text every day, just to talk about life with and learn about each other. Someone who wants to share their day with me or is looking for a texting companion in the evenings. I'd love to pick a book and read it with you, or get on discord and stream a show together (although you may have to do the heavy lifting for that).

We don't have to have the same hobbies or interests as long as you're open to introducing me to yours! I promise I can hold a conversation, even with our differences.
