35 I’m not looking for a new life, just a reason to stop sleepwalking through it.

I feel like a part of me has disappeared. I miss the butterflies you get when you see a name on a text pop up. I don’t get those feelings at home and haven’t for a long time. Honestly I’m happier at work than at home, and I really don’t like work.

I’m not looking to change my own or anyone else’s situation. I’d like to find someone intelligent who can carry on a conversation. Somebody that I can get to know, someone who I want sneak messages to while my significant other is in the other room.

I have a career, a house, someone who keeps my bed warm at night. I guess some would call that the American dream, but I need someone to wake me up.
