36 Taking Our Sweet Time

There is a sense of finesse in finding that special someone. Any attempts made previously have helped me better understand what I hope to avoid and to communicate that moving forward. I'm on the tall side, married, father of one and harbor a relentless ambition to be seen and valued. This quickly becomes an exercise in managing expectations and being particular about needs, wants and desires.

My experiences here have been two fold. One, an exploratory period where the interest becomes another obligation after a few days and the intensity fizzles. No complaints, that's natural. The other outcome has been a weeklong stretch of love bombing, they profess their love after a few days and the emotional attachment becomes to overwhelming. I remain hopeful that there is a happy medium and I am committed to finding that balance.

I am looking for a special someone but I am quite particular. This is both our opportunity to be more selective and intentional about who we let in and also be open to new things when the chance for growth is present. I value a person who takes care of themselves, treats their relationships with respect and adoration and someone who understands that this is a two way street. Effort and attraction are vital and very important to me. I'm looking to build a foundation on trust, patience and where emotions are safe to explore and share. Please be between 30-40, based in the US and either MST or PST. I stay up late most nights and would love to find a fellow night owl. Be fit, kind, gentle and playful. I am not a therapist and I am not your exit strategy. I prefer a married woman with kids as the life of a parent is hard to understand if you are not.

This takes time and I respect that. I am not in a hurry and I am not focused only on the physical or the intimate. I need someone who enjoys banter, possesses intelligence both emotional and intellectual. I am not particularly interested in a D/S dynamic either.
