36/ The girl at the corner bar...

I'm that girl at the corner bar, who always comes in with a book in hand and looks like she's always waiting for something but isn't looking to talk to anyone either. She's longing for daily companionship, but she won't admit it to anyone, so she resorts to people watching, hoping that that shy, lean, brown-haired, brown or blue-eyed angel she's been looking for will spontaneously show up in her part of the world and be brave enough to introduce himself to her in her quiet corner.

She's dated athletes and musicians before, and while she loves them, she's also had her heart broken by the ones who haven't stayed. Her heart is extra tender today, and she knows exactly what she's looking for: she wants a cute, remote work husband that she can talk to throughout the day, who will cheer her on when she's struggling, who will cheer her up when she's down, and who will lead with gentleness and grace.

When she's on fire, she can be sharp as a tack; when she's in love, she can be warmer than the coziest winter fire; and when she's tenderhearted, she waxes poetic like this and wonders if anyone can hear her. At the end of the day, she knows it doesn't matter because she has her book and her circle of friends who love her... but if only there was a man who could see this deep into her soul and consistently love her, too, her life would be complete.

If that didn't make sense to you, you're probably not the kind of person I'm looking for, but here's a TL;DR anyway:

I'm a shy girl, looking for a cute, remote co-worker, preferably with brown hair and brown/blue eyes from a progressive state, who would like to trade conversations and calls throughout the day. I prefer someone with a lean/slim build who leads with kindness and is patiently, rather than arrogantly, intelligent.
