Friendship-

I've been mulling over posting this for a bit now, but I've tried nothing and that's just not working anymore! ;D

I've hit that middle age area where social options are hard to come by. Being an introvert with a touch of social anxiety has not helped either. I don't know how to make friends anymore irl! And I've always been more comfortable online so I'm hoping this might work.

42 y.o. male into most nerdly pursuits: games (non competitive), comics, movies, good TV, animals (lots of pets), music and concerts. I enjoy the occasional social drinking. Avid fan of cannabis. A bit cynical about the state of the world but learning to enjoy the shitshow while its all going down.

Went through a rough patch a number of years back and lost a lot along the way - specifically friends to do stuff with. Fortunately that also imbued me with a new appreciation for how good my life is. But this social aspect is still lacking.

I'm definitely not a MAN's man, so someone with similar interests would be ideal. Tend to get on well with females over males but it depends on the personality. Anyone else in the area looking for something similar?
