Patience, please!

To all the gentlemen of this site:

I wanted to give you a bird’s eye view of what it is like when females post here, from my personal experiences...

Finding that magical connection is more difficult than I imagined. I find a few minutes of free time away from my spouse, and I go on this site.

It’s a typical Sunday night, 6 PM, and I make a post. I anxiously wait. Moments later, the responses begin to roll in.

For the first few minutes, I read all of my post responses until one really catches my eye. I decide to respond. And another catchy person replies to my post. I respond to him, also. 30 minutes later, I’ve replied to 10-15 responses. I’m anxiously awaiting replies to these chosen ones.

The this site app begins to lockup, crash, and freeze. Oh no! Please don’t stop working now! My spouse decides he wants to watch a movie and sits down next to me. It’s been an hour since I’ve made my post and the responses are overwhelming. They’re coming in faster than I can respond.

A couple hours later, I find a few minutes to get on this site and send a few more replies. I notice at least 3 or 4 people have already deleted their account. Was my response not fast enough? Why is your account deleted? In my limited time, I’m trying to fish through all of the replies I’ve gotten. My replies are short, but I want you to know I’m interested. It’s beginning to get late. I’m getting sleepy. I will respond to the rest tomorrow.

The next morning, I go through the daily grind and find some free time. I am enthusiastic and excited. I respond to a few of you, and I wait. I wonder why I still haven’t received replies to those of you I responded to last night?

More witty responders roll in and I’ve got one on the line. We engage and talk back and forth. We decide to take our chat off this site and our banter is a pleasant surprise. We spend the entire day chatting back and forth, and he reveals something that doesn’t align with my moral compass.
