I'm a 5'4" (163cm) average to slim built lady with glasses and long, brunette hair. I love studying foreign languages and spent 5 years as an English teacher in Japan before returning to the US to complete my Master's in translation and localization. Since graduating in May of last year, I’ve been working full time remotely from the Canada as a translation project coordinator. I'd love to live abroad again. I also love science and learning in general, and I'm an introvert that also loves to explore new places and the outdoors. I love hanging out near the water or on a beach as well as trying new food, have played a lot of video games in my day, and collected a lot of Pokemon plushes. I love Pokemon a lot!

Politically, I am far-left, and I am not particularly religious. I come from a poorer background and so I am fairly down-to-earth and easygoing, and I definitely understand struggle.

I'm looking for a special man who wants to explore, learn and nerd out with me, and I would ultimately love if it became something lifelong and serious to build a life together. Now, to be a bit vulnerable - I’m honestly lonely and really want to get to the next stage of life where I am building marriage. My ideal is someone who is also nerdy like me who struggles with meeting people but is at a place in life where he really wants to find a serious partner to get to that next stage with. I’m also very romantic and affectionate and so would love a partner who would appreciate that, and I’d adore it if you also have the life experience of living in Japan (not required, but I love Japan and would love to bond over that). Because I work remotely, we can make distance work, so I’m open to anywhere since I’m not tied to a particular place and don’t particularly care where the life is I build as long as it’s with the right person.
