-New Year, New Connection (Online, Intentional, and Worthwhile

I’m a 41-year-old woman in a long-term, dead-bedroom relationship that’s evolved into something closer to friendship. I’m not here to flip my life upside down — I’m here to add something meaningful, private, and intentional.

A little about me:
I’m a BBW (and yes, I’m in the gym). I love reading (currently The Snow Child), art, and music — I’m happily stuck in an 80s/90s/00s phase. I run on iced coffee, true crime podcasts, and documentaries. I’m a helping professional, an empath, a Cancer, INFJ, and very much an old soul with a soft heart and a little sass.

I’m a hopeless romantic with walls — not because I don’t feel deeply, but because I do. I want someone who isn’t scared of emotional closeness and who understands that connection is what makes everything else better.

What I’m looking for:
A man who is emotionally available, emotionally intelligent, and not afraid to catch feelings. I’m looking for more than sexting. More than sending nudes. More than surface-level flirting that fizzles out. I want conversation, consistency, emotional intimacy, and chemistry that builds — the kind that makes you look forward to checking in.

I don’t have a specific type. I care far more about kindness, self-awareness, and communication than stats or labels. I also need someone who understands I have a full life outside my phone and doesn’t equate interest with constant availability.
