Singles Posting ads: putting this on hold until further notice.

TLDR: Singles may no longer post ads on this sub, but can reply to affair seekers.

Originally, the Sub's rules stated that only those in a committed relationship (be it marriage or a long term arrangement/cohabitation) may post an ad on NFN. The reason behind this decision was the fact that this site offers a lot of avenues for the single folks to find any number of "connections". There are many subs by age, region, preference, fetish/kinks, etc. However, there are very few subs that are dedicated to people seeking affairs.

Historically, the posts from singles have overshadowed and outspammed those of the seeking "attached" folks. As an experiment, not long ago we've decided to run the poll, asking if the Sub's visitors would want the Singles Post rule lifted. By a slim margin, the Singles won the poll.

Unfortunately, the history proves itself again, as the NFN is becoming just another common sub, and the affair seeker posts are getting diluted and lost in the avalanche of the singles postings.

Therefore, until further notice the singles may no longer post ads on this sub. They are welcome to reply to the ads, however. If you're an attached person, please indicate that in your ad un some manner, so that the mods don't have to remove it. If your post is removed and you're not sure why - please contact me or one of the other mods.
