The kind of Attention that Lingers… even when you try to Ignore it

📍 Richmond Hill

I’m 55, in New England,USA, married, and not looking to rewrite my life story, but I am looking to add something that’s been missing: that spark that makes you check your phone a little more often than you probably should.

I’ve learned that the best connections don’t announce themselves right away. They start with an easy conversation, a bit of curiosity… and then, somewhere along the way, there’s a shift. Suddenly it’s a little more engaging, a little more distracting, and a lot harder to ignore.

I’m calm, grounded, and I don’t rush things, but that doesn’t mean I’m boring. I enjoy a bit of wit, some back-and-forth, and that subtle tension that builds when two people realize they’re on the same wavelength.

Daytime is usually when I have the most flexibility, those in-between moments where a well-timed message can completely change the tone of your day.

Outside of this, I stay active: coaching soccer, rowing, music always within reach. I have a full life, but I know there’s room for something that feels a little more *ours*.

Age isn’t a factor for me. What matters is energy, curiosity, and someone who can be both thoughtful and a little playful when the moment calls for it.

No expectations, no pressure, just seeing where a good conversation might decide to go.

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys a little banter mixed with something more meaningful… tell me something that always makes you smile, no matter how small.
