38 Canada LF a real connection

I’m 38 and live in a small town in northern Ontario. I’m introverted, sarcastic, and a little quiet until I get comfortable, then I’m being teasing, goofy and probably trying to make you laugh with a dry joke. I’m naturally introspective and a deep thinker, but I love humor and not taking things too seriously unless it’s needed. I’m definitely more of a listener at first, but once there’s a connection, I’ll talk your ear off lol

I’ve dealt with chronic pain and arthritis and fibromyalgia for a long time, so I live life a little slower. I can’t do endless hiking or travel the world, but I can show up emotionally, be consistent, and actually care about getting to know someone for real.

A few years ago, I lost a lot of weight, and I’ve been working on living a bit healthier ever since. Would be nice to meet someone who’s also trying, not perfeOntario, not obsessed ,just taking care of themselves as well.

I’m into cooking, sci-fi, dark humor, video games (WoW, Baldur’s Gate 3, Stardew Valley), great shows (Stargate SG-1 is a classic), and music from rock and metal to whatever else hits. I’ll never say no to a dumb meme or a cat video, and I love science and exploring abstract ideas and theories about life and the universe. I’m also a fan of those deep, rambling conversations that somehow turn into the best part of the night.

I’m looking for someone kind, curious, and grounded, someone who values connection, trust, and is at least a little kink positive or open to exploring that side of things together. You don’t have to know what you want yet, just be open to something genuine, layered, and maybe a little intense in the right moments.
