I'll skip the part where I pretend this is unusual. My wife and I have a great life together and I genuinely care about her — but we don't share much beyond it. Different worlds, different curiosities, different energy. Over time that gap becomes its own kind of quiet. You stop reaching for depth because there's nowhere for it to land.

A bit about who I am:

I build things. Businesses, ideas, frameworks for thinking about problems — it's less a career choice and more just how I'm wired. I'm always working on something and I think best when I'm talking through things with someone who gets that world, not just tolerates it.

I'm a continuous learner in the most genuine sense. Philosophy, world religions, political theory, music — I'll go deep on almost anything if the conversation earns it. I also love the practical side of life: gardening, fixing things, building with my hands. I find a lot of satisfaction in things that are real and tangible.

Physically I stay active and I value that in someone else — not as a checkbox, but as a sign that someone takes themselves seriously. I love people who play a sport, move their body, compete a little even if just with themselves.

I want real connection, the kind that has range.
