Looking for great conversation with new friends (Please Read).

Hello,

my name is Andrew Vance. I live near the Toronto/Fort Worth Area of Ontario. I am 26 years old and looking forward to joining the 27 club (without the fame). Jokes aside, I am currently transitioning from one chapter of my life to another. I am a good guy, who has made some bad decisions along the way. And for awhile, I've struggled with some self-inflicted anxiety and depression issues because of them. Recently, I've taken a long look at my flaws, and have decided I don't want to be who I am anymore. I want to become a better person. I want to be more positive, and I want to grow as a human being. I want to believe that anything is possible again. And so begins my journey to change for the better.

About me,

For the last two years, I've been a volunteer firefighter, and have decided to pursue it as a career. I've always been outgoing, and have a knack for sarcastic and witty conversation. However, I am cautious, calculated, and shy at first. I like to get to know people before I show the full extent of my personality. I love Music, Video Games, TV, and Movies. I enjoy creative arts. I like animals. I'm constantly online, but do enjoy many hobbies and outdoors activities that don't include the internet. (P.S. If you know what the 85 South Show is, without having to google it, then I owe you something special).

What I'm looking for,

Honestly... You. If you took the time to read my post, I'd love to get to know you. I want to meet new friends, and help inspire you in any way that I can. I want you to join me on my journey of self discovery, and be by my side as I make steps toward a brighter future. I want to truly learn all about you. I want to not only listen, but also feel what you have to say. More than anything, I want to be a great friend to you, and a positive influence in your life.

For hours, days even, I've been going back and forth in my head, debating whether I should make a post or not, what I would say in it, if it would be worth it, or if it would be too embarrassing. Finally, I decided to just do it. And I figured, complete openness and honesty would be the best way to go about it.
