Hey, you :) thanks for stopping by! Fair warning, this post is long as fuck. But if you’re ready to lock in, picture this:

It’s Saturday morning. We’re lying in bed, maybe a little hungover. Last night we went out with our friends, danced our arses off to cheesy 2000s pop and took unnaturally brightly coloured shots until the wee hours. When we get home we asleep holding each other and woke up the same way. This morning we have a filthy full English breakfast because, let’s be real, we deserve it. Today will be a super chill day of watching our favourite things and making each other laugh. If we can bear going to the gym in the evening we will, wanna be my spotter? Maybe tomorrow we’ll go to a museum or the theatre, dinner and drinks. Life is good. Any notes?

So. I’ve kissed a lot of frogs over the past 10 years or so, but I am truly ready to meet a prince. Dragon-slaying experience optional but preferred.

Some things about me:

I think I’m pretty equal parts soft and sharp. I love to debate, have very strong opinions, and have spent my career having to put on a tough mask and fight my corner. However, at my core I am a (detrimentally) trusting and affectionate person who really just wants everyone around me to be happy.

I work hard, I’ve got big ambitions, and I like my life to feel full - gym sessions, holidays, nights out with friends, but also lots of evenings where we’re horizontal on the sofa, fully invested in something objectively terrible on TV. If you can watch trashy reality shows with me and commit, I’m talking yelling at the screen, forming opinions, choosing sides, I may fall in love with you. Similarly, if you don’t get the ick watching me bawl my eyes out at a Disney film I’ve seen 20 times, big green flag.

Something that’s been missing in my life that I adore is true effort and quiet chivalry. The small things matter to me - walking on the outside of the pavement, opening doors, making sure I got home safe. I like feeling protected and looked after, and there’s something very attractive about quiet, consistent respeOntario.
