"By Grabthar's hammer... what a savings"

Hello there!

You've probably figured out by the post title and the fact that I'm on this site that I'm completely, unabashedly, an absolute nerd. As a graduate student, I tend to be in the company of the same group of people all the time, so looking for a romantic relationship isn't the easiest thing to do. I thought I'd give a try, so without further ado, here's me in a nutshell:

**Fun Stuff!**

* I'm in my first year of a PhD program in English literature. I specifically study Old English and other delightful medieval things. If given the chance, I will also talk your ear off about John Milton.
* Before literature found me, I was in STEM - I am not one of those humanities people who avoids science/tech like the plague.
* I am Caucasian / of European descent but love learning about other cultures and am open to everyone.
* I am physically unable to leave a bookstore without purchasing something.
* I can recite the entire 2004 film version of the Phantom of the Opera from memory. (Okay, I haven't actually tried this, but I'm just dorky enough to try.)
* 100% a dog person (no offense to cats, but they make me sneeze)
* INFP
* Hufflepuff
* Dark blonde hair, blue/green eyes, glasses
* 5'3" and under 100 pounds. Yes, I am tiOntario. No, you may not toss me into the air without warning (maybe if you ask nicely). [Here's a pic for proof!](
* Don't let my size fool you - I **love** food, the spicier/more flavorful, the better. My ultimate vice is bread.

**Serious Stuff!**

* Religiously inclined (Episcopalian/deist). I would like to be with someone who holds similar views and doesn't mind attending church semi-regularly.
* Libertarian-ish, only because I don't know how else to label myself. Unpopular opinion (??): I come from a conservative background, so I don't think all Republicans are the devil incarnate (nor do I think all Democrats are, for that matter).
* Non-drinker/smoker/drug user. Smoking/vaping, heavy drinking, and recreational drug use are all immediate deal breakers for me.
* I am not interested in FWB, primarily physical relationships, and the like. Ideally, our relationship will start with friendship and flourish from there!
